This was an extremely fun project to be involved in. We built this ramp in the middle of the forest for a professional skateboarder. we used only fallen trees for beams and posts and even used the curved tree in the upper photo for the template of a ''tree ride''. We had 5 days to do it but finished it in 4 days. I will post the promo video when it is finished next month.

Frame from recycled skateboards. Canadian maple.
I made this frame (bottom right) for a friends art show. It's a bit of a process sanding, gluing, and milling the boards into workable wood, but very worth it when you see the end result. this frame is on display at Sitka in Victoria.

These are some display's i did for Dragon impact. Simple sliding glass up top with glass shelves and hinging double doors below. I did six in total and a lot of other work there, but with his large inventory taking up every available space its hard to even showcase.

Here's a desk i built for Synergy Ent. Old growth fir salvaged from Victoria High school. The cubby showcases what the wood looked like when i got it. They wanted a beefy desk so they got one with giant alternating finger joints. I'm a big fan of the stained nail holes!

Dice made from broken skateboards. Dots burned in, still without finish.
Oak and metal spindle railing. Cap made from scratch. I also did the oak floor.
Maple ring I made for my girlfriend. Still without a finish on it.
This was a different project but a lot of fun, it let me get creative. We call it the cat corner.
A display also for Higher Ground clothing gallery.
This is a front desk i make for Higher Ground clothing gallery.

Welcome!

This is an exciting time for me, I'm finally out on my own doing the kind of work that i want to do! And what kind of work is that? Well it's just about anything in the custom woodworking department. I've been building desks from salvaged fir for a clients office, product displays for retail stores, front desks, retail store renovations, and even dice made from broken skateboards. I've been doing carpentry for the past 10 years, everything from house framing, interior finishing, hardwood flooring and everything else that gets house to the finished stage.
I will be doing my darndest to keep this blog updated with photos of old, new, and future projects so please bare with me. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to contact me.
